Our policy
VibeTool respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects the people who use our services to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws. This policy applies to vibetool.org and app.vibetool.org.
Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe that material available on or through VibeTool infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes:
- a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough information (such as the page address) for us to locate it;
- your name, postal address, email address and telephone number;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for the owner.
Where to send notices
Email [email protected] with “DMCA Notice” in the subject line so it reaches the right person quickly.
Counter-notification
If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification that includes your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material and where it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts. If we receive a valid counter-notification we may restore the material unless the original complainant tells us they have started legal action.
Repeat infringers
We may suspend or terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
Misrepresentation
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may carry legal liability.
